May Still Be Inside Your Home

Most of Milton’s homes went up after 2000, as the town grew quickly from a small Halton community into a big commuter town. Old Milton, around Main Street and the Mill Pond, still holds the oldest houses, a mix of century homes and post-war builds, and Timberlea and Dorset Park are established subdivisions from before the boom. Almost everything else is newer: Hawthorne Village, Beaty, Clarke, Coates, Harrison, Scott, Willmott and Ford went up through the 2000s and 2010s, mostly as detached homes, semis and freehold townhouses, and new phases are still being built at the edges of town.
New houses get dirty ducts in their own way. The furnace often runs during construction to heat the house while the drywall is taped and sanded, and the fine white dust, sawdust and bits of insulation it pulls into the returns stay in the ductwork long after closing day. A few years later many owners finish the basement, which adds another round, and on streets where the next phase is still going up, site dust comes in on shoes and through open windows. CMHC guidance notes that duct cleaning can make sense when you move into a newly built house. In Old Milton the issue is age: original or patched ductwork that has outlived a few furnaces.
Our office is at 4949 Bathurst Street in North York, about 50 km east along the 401, so we are not a local Milton shop. Milton jobs are scheduled visits on our regular Halton routes, with no trip fee inside our service area and the total confirmed by phone before you book. We check the furnace and duct layout first, then clean with a truck-mounted negative-pressure vacuum and brushing. Basic ($329) covers the supply side, Comfort ($399) adds the return side and J-channel, and Luxury ($499) adds the furnace blower compartment and sanitizing with Benefect, a natural product. Basic and Comfort cover up to 10 vents, Luxury up to 15, extra vents are $12, and every package includes before-and-after photos. See our duct cleaning prices. We are family run since 1980, a CNADCA member, rated 4.8 on Google from 300+ reviews.
Many newer Milton homes put the laundry on the second floor, and townhouses often run the dryer duct through a floor or wall before it reaches the outside. Those longer runs with more bends are where lint packs in, loads take longer to dry and the exterior flap stops closing. Our dryer vent cleaning clears the full line from the dryer to the outside hood with high-pressure air tools, usually in 45 to 90 minutes. Main floor or basement vents are $280, second floor $320 and attic $480, confirmed after a brief inspection. It is priced separately from the duct packages and can be added to the same visit.
Most Milton homes have the furnace in the basement, often with an HRV and a humidifier beside it, and the blower compartment catches the same drywall dust as the ducts. The Luxury package includes the blower compartment clean, and a full furnace cleaning can be added to the visit, priced by quote, as can HRV and humidifier cleaning. We clean; we do not repair or replace furnace or AC parts, do gas or refrigerant work, or certify safety. Anything that looks unsafe is pointed out and photographed for a licensed HVAC technician.
With more than 45 years across the GTA, our trained technicians have cleaned everything from older homes to new builds and condos in and around Milton. We know local ductwork and treat every home with care.
We don’t use weak portable vacuums. Our high-suction, truck-mounted compression systems pull debris out of your home and into our truck, ensuring a mess-free, deep clean.
Clogged ducts make your HVAC system work harder, and the dust they circulate can bother people with asthma or allergies. A thorough cleaning restores proper airflow.
No hidden fees and no bait and switch. You will know the exact rate for your home or business in Milton before we start, with the price posted up front.
Our reputation in Milton is built on word of mouth. We use drop cloths and protective gear to keep your space clean, and we back every job with before-and-after photos.
Unnecessary services are never pushed. If your system is in good condition, we’ll tell you.

We clean ducts right across Milton. In the centre of town that means Old Milton, the streets around Main Street, Martin Street and the Mill Pond, and the established subdivisions of Timberlea and Dorset Park. Out from there we work the newer neighbourhoods, Hawthorne Village, Beaty, Clarke, Coates, Harrison, Scott, Willmott and Ford, off Derry Road, Thompson Road, Bronte Street, Louis St. Laurent Avenue and Britannia Road.
Most of what we clean here are detached two-storey homes, semis and freehold townhouses, along with some newer mid-rise condos. A detached home with a finished basement often has more than 10 vents, which is where the Luxury package’s 15-vent count helps. Townhouses usually have the furnace in a small basement utility room and short duct runs, so the dryer vent is easy to add to the same visit. For a home that has just closed, the best time for a first cleaning is after the basement is finished and the last trades are gone, so new drywall dust is not pulled straight back into clean ducts. Condo suites get compact equipment and a visit planned around your building’s elevator booking.
For businesses we clean offices, retail units and small commercial spaces, from the plazas along Derry Road and Main Street to the business parks along Steeles Avenue and James Snow Parkway near Highway 401; see commercial duct cleaning. Commercial jobs start with a walk-through, and because we work 8am to 6pm seven days a week, the cleaning can be scheduled for a weekend. South of Milton we also clean in Oakville and Burlington, and to the east in Mississauga and Brampton.
Our posted packages are $329 for Basic, $399 for Comfort and $499 for Luxury. Basic and Comfort cover up to 10 vents and Luxury up to 15, with extra vents at $12 each. Many Milton townhouses fit inside 10 vents, while a larger detached home with a finished basement may have more. Milton is inside our service area, so there is no trip fee, and we confirm the total by phone before you book.
Often, yes. New construction leaves drywall dust, sawdust and bits of insulation in the ductwork, partly because the furnace often runs to heat the house while the drywall is finished. That dust keeps circulating once you move in. CMHC guidance notes that duct cleaning can make sense in a newly built house. The best timing is after the last trades have left, or right after you finish the basement.
It can add to it. While the next phase of a subdivision is being built, dust from the sites comes in through open windows and on shoes, and the furnace pulls it into the returns. During that stretch, check the furnace filter monthly, as CMHC recommends for the heating season, and change it when it looks grey. A sensible plan is one cleaning at move-in and another once the surrounding construction wraps up.
Yes. Many newer Milton homes have an HRV, a heat recovery ventilator, beside the furnace, and its filters and core collect dust and lint like the rest of the system. HRV cleaning is not part of the duct packages. It is priced by quote and can be added to the same visit as your duct cleaning. Mention the HRV when you call, and we include it in the total we confirm before booking.
Dryer vent cleaning is $280 for a main floor or basement dryer, $320 for a second floor and $480 for an attic run, confirmed after a brief inspection of the length, turns and access. Second-floor laundry is common in newer Milton homes, and those longer runs collect more lint. Most jobs take 45 to 90 minutes. It is priced separately from our duct packages but can be done in the same visit.
You can do the visible part yourself. Lift off the registers and return grilles, wash them in warm soapy water, vacuum as far into each opening as your hose reaches, and clean or replace the furnace filter. That keeps the rooms tidier, but it does not reach the supply main, the return runs or the blower, where most of the dust sits. Those need a truck-mounted negative-pressure vacuum and brushing.
