Air duct cleaning cost is the first thing most people want to know, and the hardest thing to get a straight answer on. Most companies advertise a low “from” price, then the real duct cleaning cost only appears once a technician is standing in your basement. Comfort Clean does it the other way around. We have cleaned ducts across Toronto and the GTA since 1980, and our duct cleaning prices are posted right here so you can decide before you book, not after.
This page lays out exactly what each package costs, what separates one tier from the next, and what can move the final number for your home. There is no trip fee hidden in the fine print and no per-hour billing. What you read below is what you pay, and we confirm the total on the phone before we ever schedule the visit.
| Package | Price | Vents included | What it covers |
|—|—|—|—|
| Basic | $300 | up to 10 to 15 vents | A straightforward, thorough clean of the duct system |
| Comfort | $339 | up to 10 to 15 vents | Basic, plus sanitizing, blower compartment and photos |
| Luxury | $439 | up to 10 to 15 vents | The full HVAC treatment, top to bottom |
| Extra vents | +$10 each | beyond the package count | Larger homes with more registers |
All three packages cover a typical home with up to 10 to 15 vents. Past that, we add a flat $10 per extra vent, so a large home with 20 vents is simply the package price plus about $50 to $100. That is the whole formula. Count your supply and return registers, pick a package, and you already know your price within a few dollars.
These two tiers are only $39 apart, so it is fair to ask what the difference really is. Here it is, in plain terms.
Basic ($300) is a complete clean of your supply and return ductwork. We use truck-mounted, negative-pressure vacuum with brushing to pull out the settled dust, pet hair and debris that has built up in the trunks and branch lines. For a lot of homes, that is all they need.
Comfort ($339) includes everything in Basic and adds three things:
If anyone in the home has allergies or asthma, if you have pets, or if the system smells off, Comfort is the tier most people are glad they chose. The $39 is the difference between a clean and a clean you can smell and see the proof of.
Luxury ($439) is for homes that want the works: everything in Comfort, plus a deeper detail of the furnace and blower motor, an AC coil check, a dryer vent cleaning, and an antimicrobial fog through the full system. It is the right pick after a major renovation, after a mould or smoke concern, or when a home has never been cleaned in the time you have owned it.
The package price is the honest starting point for a standard home. A few real things can move the number, and we tell you about all of them before you book, never at the door:
You have seen the ads: air duct cleaning “from $49” or “$79 whole home.” Almost no honest, insured, truck-mounted crew can clean a real duct system for that, and the companies that advertise it are not planning to. The low number gets them in your door, then the price climbs fast once they are inside: per-vent charges, sanitizing “upgrades,” a mandatory “deep clean,” a fee to actually turn the vacuum on. The final bill often lands well above our flat package price, for less work.
We priced our packages so the number you read here is the number you pay. If your job is a standard home, there is no upsell script and no surprise line item. If it genuinely is a bigger job, you hear that before you commit, not after we have started. That is the whole idea behind our pricing.
If you want to know the warning signs of a duct cleaning scam and how to spot them before you book anyone, we wrote a plain guide here: how to avoid duct cleaning scams.
Every package is built on the same clear process we run across the GTA: a full inspection of your supply and return system, a deep mechanical clean of the ductwork with truck-mounted negative-pressure vacuum and brushing, cleaning of the blower compartment, and sanitizing and before-and-after photos on the tiers that include them. We clean the entire system ā not just the vents
With over 45 years across Toronto and the GTA, our trained technicians have cleaned everything from older homes to new builds and commercial units. We know the work and treat every property with care.
We don’t use weak portable vacuums. Our high-suction, truck-mounted compression systems pull debris out of your home and into our truck, ensuring a mess-free, deep clean.
Clogged ducts force your HVAC into “overdrive,” causing brain fog, fatigue, and worsening symptoms for those with asthma or allergies. We restore your system to peak performance.
No hidden fees and no bait and switch. You will know the exact rate for your home or business before we book, with the price posted up front.
Our reputation across the GTA is built on word of mouth. We treat your property with respect, use drop cloths and protective gear, and back every job with before-and-after photos.
Unnecessary services are never pushed. If your system is in good condition, we’ll tell you.

For a standard home in Ontario, professional duct cleaning generally runs between about $300 and $450, depending on the number of vents, the condition of the system and whether sanitizing is added. Comfort Clean packages are $300, $339 and $439, posted up front.
Across Canada most reputable companies charge roughly $250 to $500 for a single-furnace home, with GTA pricing near the middle of that range. Prices rise for larger homes, multiple furnaces or heavily soiled systems. Very low from prices are marketing hooks, not finished prices.
A quote far below the real cost of the work is usually a bait price. The advertised number covers only a token clean and the rest is added on site as per-vent fees, sanitizing charges and upcharges. You often end up paying more than a flat honest package would have cost.
For most GTA homes the furnace and ducts are cleaned together in one visit, and that combined job is what our packages cover: $300 for Basic, $339 for Comfort and $439 for Luxury, up to 10 to 15 vents. Furnace cleaning is part of the package, not a separate line item. Extra vents are a flat $10 each with no separate trip charge.
Only $39. Basic is a full mechanical clean of the supply and return ducts. Comfort adds a sanitizing and deodorizing treatment, a clean of the furnace blower compartment, and before-and-after photos of the inside of the ducts.
Each package covers up to 10 to 15 vents. Beyond that it is a flat $10 per extra vent. A second furnace or air handler is a separate duct system and is priced separately.
